Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Position Summary

As a vital member of the North American Sales team, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for penetrating an existing account base and prospecting new accounts to identify NEW opportunities to sell PKWARE software. In addition, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for marshalling the appropriate PKWARE resources (i.e. Senior Management, Technical Support, Customer Service, etc.) to enable success at the account.

Responsibilities

Develop Strategic and tactical Account Plans for each assigned customer or prospect

  • Leverage in-house resources (i.e. people and databases)
  • Research public information (i.e. website, etc)
  • Be prepared and professional

Take proactive steps to establish relationships with key customer contacts:

  • Proactive outbound calls and emails to “target audience” within account base
  • Be professionally creative to generate interest and awareness of PKWARE products

Qualify and assist customer in identifying security and efficiency data management needs, defining the correct software solution from our product suite and guiding them through the acquisition process to close the sale

Marshall PKWARE resources where needed and appropriate

Oversee the entire sales process

Present PKWARE “Value Proposition” to account senior management

Face-to-face and over the phone

Develop customized presentations when needed

Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of PKWARE’s products, markets, and customers.

Provide top quality customer service to clients via voice and/or electronic communications before, during and after the sale.

Travel for onsite customer visitation to tactically support sales goals and to tradeshows to support marketing efforts required.

Document & update sales activities in the CRM system (SalesForce.com)

Create orders and send to Customer Service with proper documentation for processing.

Create and maintain customer files.

Work with the Senior Management and Account Support Team to develop strategic account plans.

Requirements

  • 4 year College Degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience required
  • Proven track record of successful sales involving complex selling situations required
  • Successfully completed Sales Training programs / courses required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word & Excel, Intranet and Internet, and contact management software required
  • Well developed verbal, written and telephone communication skills required
  • Strong drive toward attainment of goals required
  • Ability to work on multiple different sales/tasks at the same time required
  • Strong customer service focus with ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization required
  • Analytic ability to identify customer need and use understanding of products to determine & recommend solution
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers, senior level business and/or IT decision makers, of varying technical expertise required
  • Organizational skills with thorough follow through and attention to detail required
  • Understanding of Information Security Market desired
  • Familiar with Financial Services / Commercial Banking vertical desired
  • Good working knowledge of various Hardware and Software platform desired
